Navigating through COVID-19

Paddlefit cares about the physical and emotional health and well-being of the National Capital Region’s paddlers and our staff. That is why we are dedicated to providing a low-risk paddling experience and opportunity for people in our community to get out on the water. As our operations resume, we are committed to leading by example as per the health and safety guidelines provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada, our provincial government and safety experts.

Health and Safety Undertakings:

  • All equipment is thoroughly disinfected between users.
  • We invite renters to use their own life jackets.
  • As classes resume, we have limited our participant capacity to 5 (including the instructor). We have also developed systems to ensure social distancing during classes.
  • All instructors are trained on how to respect and maintain social distancing requirements.
  • We provide paddleboard delivery services around the Ottawa / Gatineau region as the provincial borders remain closed for all non-essential travel.
  • We are proactive in the search for put in locations approved by authorities suitable for all levels of paddlers
